| I got to see the Phillies kick the crap outta the Cardinals yesterday...9-2! YAY! There were 4 2-run homers, plus Joe Blanton pitched a great game. I also got to see the BILFalicious Cole Hamels doing some pitching practice and stretching (droooool!) on the field, and I got to see my hot Cardinal (Skip Schumaker) bat, even though he wasn't very good in that game. ...is a night for hot pitchers.
First I'll be watching Hamels vs. Correia. I don't find Correia hot, but luckily BILFy McBILF is hot enough for both of 'em.
And then I'll be checking out the Haren/Morton matchup. Morton's cute; Haren's GORGEOUS. (During every All-Star Game, I seem to become infaturated with some player I'd barely cared about before. In 2008, it was Mauer/Morneau/Hamilton; this year, it was Haren.)
Not only will I enjoy watching Haren pitch for the D-Backs, I'm also looking forward to watching Pittsburgh's Garrett Jones, who is BILFalicious and talented. He's on fire lately--so much so that I picked him up for 2 of my 3 fantasy teams.
Tonight will be BILFtastic!

| Chase Utley's awesome. Werth, too. They made it so that the baseball game could finally freakin' end. And not just end, but end with a Phillies win. That's the best kind of ending to a Phillies game! (It's also good for my teams of BILFs; I've got Utley on one team and Werth on 2 teams.)I feel supremely retarded that I had no idea that King BILF himself, Cole Hamels, was pitching tonight. Usually I make it a point to watch games that Hamels pitches... But since I knew Moyer pitched last night, I figured that under no circumstances would Hamels follow Moyer in the rotation, and so I just assumed it was somebody else pitching tonight. Oops. |
